Gathering a Global Beer Perspective – What Are Your Thoughts?
By | Posted: July 16, 2009
The UK consumes over 26 million pints of beer every day; however, only 13% of beer sales can be attributed to women. We know it’s different in other countries – 25% of beer is consumed by women in the US, and 36% in the Republic of Ireland.
While BitterSweet Partnership was set up for the UK market, we’ve recently noticed lots of visitors to our site from outside the UK. Welcome! We’d love you to say hello. What’s it like to be a female beer drinker in your country? Is beer a social taboo or something that’s encouraged? Are there any local beers you drink and would recommend? Leave a comment and let us know!
