KIRSTY DERRY

MANAGING DIRECTOR

As Managing Director of the BitterSweet Partnership Kirsty is the woman at the helm of this ambitious and exciting initiative. She is a long standing employee of Coors Brewers, having worked in the HR department there for over 12 years. However she’ll now be handing over the baton on her current role as UK HR Director to become the dedicated head of The BitterSweet Partnership.

The experience she has in setting strategy and leading change means she’s ideally suited for this challenging role. As she says, “I’m used to and comfortable with, being the only female perspective in a male dominated category.” Kirsty, a beer lover herself, likes to wind down with a chilled Kasteel Cru or Coors Light.

“I want women to feel like they have a relationship with beer and to feel that beer plays a natural part in all social occasions, including when they want to unwind and have a bit of ‘me’ time.. I want brewers to talk to women, to hear what they have to say and to make the beers that women want. Ultimately I want to unleash women’s love for beer.”
